    Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library

    The Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library will be hosting an on-line auction during Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude to help with budget shortfalls due to canceled events earlier this year. “Home for the Holidays” consists of themed baskets that will be for sale through 32auctions.com/HOMEFOR21. If you are looking for a gift for the holidays, stay-at-home nights, or a treat for yourself, sign on to the auction site (November 30 THROUGH December 12) and start bidding. Thirty-Two baskets are being designed and donated by friends of the Library, which means that 100 percent of the sales will directly benefit the Library. A few choices to consider: Fireside Fun, Farm to Table, For Tiny Tots…and We Know Lots, Games With Friends, and many, many more. Please feel free to call us at (207) 967-2778 for more details. Once the auction closes (8:00 pm on December 12), you will be notified if your bid was the highest and we will make arrangements for pick up, shipping, etc. Some perishables will need to be added prior to pick up for freshest content.     Private viewing of Louis Norton’s Murals depicting the history of Kennebunkport at Luques Tavern (aka General Simon Nowell’s House).

    The tour will start at White Columns (8 Maine Street in Kennebunkport) and guests will then be guided to the murals when each tour time starts. Kennebunkport Historical Society will contact you about the specifics of this tour. A tour will go out every 15-minutes and will have approximately 6 people per tour to ensure proper social distancing.     All aboard! Ride in heated trolleys decked out in live holiday greens on our private heritage railroad, shop in the Museum store, and enjoy delicious hot chocolate! Our trolley rides are roughly 25 minutes and journey through our beautiful, wooded campus.

    Due to COVID-19, we are only selling a limited amount of tickets for each departure time and families will be socially-distanced on the ride.
    Mask Policy: Per a federal TSA mandate for passenger railroads, masks must be worn while on our trolleys by everyone 5 years old and older.

    All aboard! Ride in heated trolleys decked out in live holiday greens on our private heritage railroad, shop in the Museum store, and enjoy delicious hot chocolate! Our trolley rides are roughly 25 minutes and journey through our beautiful, wooded campus.
